AMANDA BENJEY
Amanda Benjey is from Cincinnati, Ohio and attended School of the Arts her sophomore through senior year of high school. She trained and performed with Exhale Dance Tribe under Missy Lay Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard with additional training from Jennifer Rutherford. Currently, Amanda is an upcoming senior year talent scholar at Wayne State University, pursuing her BFA in Dance. While her time in the University she performed works of those such as Bosmat Nossan, Faye Driscoll, BAIRA | MVMNT PHLSOPHY, Meg Paul, Pilobolus, and Liz Schmidt. She is humbled to have apprenticed with BAIRA | MVMNT PHLOSPHY Junior year, performing works at Judson Memorial Church and Chez Bushwick in NYC . She has worked with additional artists such as Sidra Bell, Shannon Gillen, Jason Cianciulli, Victoria P. Miranda, Taia Royal, and more. She received additional training at Sidra Bell Summer Module, VIM VIGOR, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, The Summer Dance Sessions, BAIRA Summer and Winter Intensive. Amanda is looking forward to continuing her expansion into the arts and beyond.
